Among the 333 minority women included for the final analysis, the majority of the women were unemployed, and only one-third had some form of medical insurance. Study population characteristics are described in Table 1.
Only 14.8% (55/333) of women studied were using HRT. In the bivariate analyses, age less than 65 years, good health status and regular exercise were significantly associated with HRT use. There were no differences between African-American and Hispanic American women in HRT use. There were, however, significant differences in the demographic and lifestyle characteristics between the African-American and Hispanic American women. None of the preventive practices studied were associated with HRT use in the bivariate analyses. The bivariate analyses are shown in Tables 2 and 3.

Multivariate Analysis
In multivariate logistic regression analysis with HRT use as an outcome variable, and age, regular exercise, health status, calcium use, regular provider, Pap smear and sigmoidoscopy as independent variables, we found that only health status and regular exercise were significantly associated with HRT use. Minority women who exercise regularly were two times more likely to report current estrogen use (p=0.03). Minority women with a good health status were also two times more likely to use HRT than women with poor health status (p=0.02). Source your medication needs online. Order sildenafil home delivered
